We had the most wonderful stay here! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the amazing owner, whose warm and friendly welcome made us feel instantly at home. Our room was a fantastic surprise – a lovely size, giving us plenty of space to relax. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need, including a fridge and excellent tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom is a wetroom and spotless. After a late evening out, coming back to a bed that was really comfortable was perfect. This B&B is a hidden gem.
The owners Pat and John are a lovely couple, nothing is too much and they go extra mile to keep their guests happy. We had break down on the way to the hotel and had to get a recovery to the local Kwik fit, John collected us and our luggage from there and took to the hotel ! Thank you so much John. The breakfast is good and freshly cooked, Pat made everyone feel comfortable, she's also got a good sense of humour. We cannot Thank them both enough for making it such a pleasant stay.
Absolutely Perfect Stay in every way! A Real Gem in Torquay! From the moment we arrived at The Crowndale, Torquay we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, John & Pat, who instantly made us feel at home. Their friendly manner, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail set the tone for what turned out to be an outstanding stay. Great stay at Crowndale. The room was lovely and clean, nice deco. Rooms come with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, shampoo, soap, water, milk etc. the location is perfect with the beach being 10 mins walk and you get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was lovely with the hosts accomodating your preferences. Pat and John are knowledgeable about the area and what to see and do, they are the perfect hosts.
