I originally only stopped in at The Crask Inn for a coffee stop and to dry off for half an hour, but was made to feel super welcome and Shane kindly offered me the Wendy house in the garden for the night, so I had to spend the day! The whole place just exudes classic Scottish country pub vibes, and Shane and his wife (I'm forget her name) are the perfect people to be running the place. Great coffee, great selection of Whiskeys, superb food. 10/10 would definitely stop by again!
We travelled to Crask meeting up with our group of 9 mountaineers. All of us stayed at the Crask Inn for 2 nights - including meals and accommodations plus drinks and tea in the pub. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The purpose was to climb one of the nearby Munro mountains - and it was perfect for this. It's a gentle quiet place - with spectacular nature all around. Shane and Mac were wonderful hosts at the Crask Inn. We had some great laughs with Shane - and good story telling. We intend to stay again. If you are expe... read more

Arrived wet and cold after a day on the hill and initially concerned there wasn't a drying room but delighted to be encouraged to hang everything - gloves, socks, jackets etc - on the antlers above the roaring stove in the bar! A great welcome and brilliant company.
The first time I visited was when the ‘new’ hosts Shane and Mack had just become the innkeepers. Myself and a friend visited receiving the warmest welcome, we chatted and really did end up leaving like Friends! I have visited the Inn a few times since and every-time the coffee is strong, the beer is flowing (both local btw) & that same warm welcome still there to greet me each and every-time! A hidden gem of the north.
