The Crask Inn has to be my biggest disappointment of 2024, I should have been wary when the website was down and I couldn't see any images, but I thought that for £178 D,B&B for 2 sharing for 1 night, out of season in November, we must be getting a quality stay, but we couldn't have been more wrong. I visited the Crask Inn from America. It was amazing! My favorite part was the beautiful scenery. Looking out my window of my very cozy room was a spectacular view of nature. I loved the food as well. I look forward to going back and getting in some good hiking experiences followed by some delicious Scottish fare!
Three girlfriends, and I came from America to the Crask Inn during the off-season to help the new proprietors get ready for their guests. We were welcomed with authentic Highlands cuisine that was delicious. Shane is a serve-safe certified chef and each meal was delicious!!! Shane and Mack and John made us feel like kings and queens!! I spent 10 days with Shane and Mac this October 2024. What a fantastic time and wonderful hosts. The food was tasty and plentiful every morning and evening. Most nights were spent in the pup by the wood stove with a pint. Already have plans for next year. If you are a passer by or plan to see the highlands the Crask Inn needs to be on your must see and stay places.
My husband and I spent two weeks for our honeymoon traveling around the UK in August. We wanted a place to stay that really felt homey and I couldn’t have asked for a better place than The Crask! Mack and Shane were overly accommodating, the food was fantastic, and the kiddos were adorable! I have already come back to the US and started telling others to come visit. We really enjoyed hanging out with the other guests that came during the time, too!
