Verified Renter Lived here for four years now. Community is pretty quiet, aside from construction/improvements so that’s ok. The apartment leases with washers and dryers so that’s nice! Windows leak air and water terribly but it’s an old building so to be expected. Maintenance is slow but very friendly, it could be worse. For the price it’s a nice place to live in my opinion.

Verified Renter Honestly I wouldn’t recommend moving here. The rent is way too high for what you actually get in the older apartments that don’t have the renovations. Not the quietest neighborhood to be in Matthews at all. Constantly having issues with items inside the apartment etc.
Verified Renter The apartment has been fine since moving in. The reason for the 3 rating is due to the move in experience. I was scheduled to move in on 12/22. Signed the lease and received the keys. Opened the unit and the heater unit caught on fire and I turned it off. Due to the holiday, it would not be repaired until after XMas. My family was coming to celebrate XMAS at my new place and we could not. Too cold in the unit. No rent concession offered to me as a new tenant that was greatly hindered during the Xmas season.
