Lovely room in a nice old hotel My only issue was hardly anything on the menu was available on the night of our stay Incorrect cocktail was served and items missing on breakfast served to us.
Stopped for food which was very good.
A very comfortable hotel / pub situated within a few minutes walk from the old part of Hexham and the Abbey. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. The staff are friendly and the restaurant offers a varied menu. Free parking is available a couple of minutes walk away. All good
Had roast dinner there on Sunday and it was delicious. Sadly it had proved too popular and there was no pork left and not enough beef by the time we went in the evening. That said, what we had was most enjoyable and then we had the cheek to have a sweet too! Definitely would recommend
