Came for Sunday lunch on a beautiful day, Seated outside under the canopy our family enjoyed a gorgeous roast and desert! Forgot to take photos as it was so delicious. Even had a little visitor to the table. If we were closer than a 7 hour drive this would be a regular visit.
The Cott Inn is a beautiful old place. It has a great history and lovely atmosphere. The food was fantastic and we had great service throughout. Thank you for a splendid evening
Very nice traditional pub. Nice service. Ordered the Ceasar Salad (£21!) which was a bit of a car crash of a dish: the smoked chicken was an excellent innovation but it was sitting on top of the salad and made it wilt - not a great result! There was a mistifying addition of some deep fried squid bites, delicious but did not belong to the dish. Same goes for the fresh, whole anchovies.
