I went for lunch, it was really delicious
Nice venue, with comfortable atmosphere. We didn't book and were easily able to sit in the bar for dinner around 7:30 on a sunday evening. Really excellent vegan menu, the selection was great, with some very interesting options and delicious onion rings. The desserts were really special and we left absolutely stuffed and very happy.
Have had many meals here, however this was the first time we have stayed here. Food is very good, with a reasonable range done well, never had a bad meal. Can be a little pricey but the standard justify it. Friendly staff. The room we had was of a good standard, perfectly adequate for our needs. Well provisioned, possible better than others of a similar price, we have used.

The venue was pleasant with a nice atmosphere and location. We were greeted nicely and I said ‘booking for *first name*’, they then came to us and said ‘is it *surname*’ (booking system asks for full name), when seated the waitress said ‘usually when we ask your name you give your surname’. I felt this comment should have been kept to herself as apologising when you enter isn’t pleasant.
