I first contacted Clunker Junker a week ago. I had a 2011 GMC Terrain in good running order, recent new tires and brakes. My Vietnam veteran husband is unable to drive much anymore and we do not need two vehicles. I had been told this was a good company to do business with. After I accepted an offer the trouble started. I sent in the pictures, got the offer and pick up time and I never received a call or anything about the time I set for. I took off of work just to wait for them so now I am out one day of pay and haven’t even sold my vehicle yet, I reached out twice and they tried to contact the IAA service but the day goes by and nothing. I took a gamble and lost with this company, don’t waste your time.

My issue with Clunker Junker is mainly with their third party towing company that they use in this area and being that they are associated with this business they are responsible as well. The initial process was good and the offer to pick up my vehicle was fair so I accepted. The towing company called me for a pickup time and asked me if my vehicle had the original catalytic converter still. We do, however, offer THREE separate disclaimers throughout the sale process that very clearly state that if the catalytic converter is missing or has been replaced, the local buyers reserve the right to adjust their offer, or refuse pickup entirely. This is the absolute worst online business. Carrier was suppose to pick up car within 4 hour window and call an hour ahead of pickup. Did not call until after the 4 hour window. Customers have to sit and wait on the carrier for pick up for 4 hours. Do not use this business. Unscrupulous.
Highly recommend! Process was very easy. They came within the time frame they said they would. Very little paperwork and handed me the cash. Would certainly call them again.
