So this is a self service place - noone is onsite - so the service was that it was very clean and we got the emails in perfect time with the codes to open the lockbox. Rooms were great, but the pubs outside were noisy until late - nothing they could do about that.

Absolutely fabulous stay and wonderful hosts. Helped us out in a real pickle. Would absolutely stay here again. Lots to do locally. The facilities are superb - we stayed as a family of two adults and two kids.

The apartment looked lovely at first. Unfortunately the main issue was the noise. We were kept awake until 1:15 by people in the apartment above talking in their lounge. The sound just carried through so easily. From the main bedroom where our children slept we could hear noise from other rooms. It probably depends who else you have staying at the time what your experience is like and we were just unlucky that the guests above us stayed up so late. There were also some smaller issues. Disappointing stay overall The Clock House looks nice from the outside and it’s clear some effort has gone into the decor and making it feel cosy, but the basics really let it down. The WiFi was terrible—couldn’t get a stable connection, and even basic browsing wasn’t possible. Not ideal when you need to get a bit of work done - as soon as I stepped outside my cell data was much better.
