We have had the most tasty Sunday roast dinner in the Cliff Top Inn today . Staying locally in our motorhome so found this carvery in the local tourist magazine. To be honest it's not a pretty looking pub but dont be put off as the carvery is the best we have ever had ! All three meats were great, roast potatoes/parsnips ( as good as homecooked) and the selection of vegetables, 5 or 6 plus cheese sauce all for £12.95. Stayed at the Cliff Top Inn as we were going to the Cromer Pier summer show. We had 2 x twin rooms. We had a warm welcome on arrival, location good if you want peace and quiet. Rooms were good with a lovely view of the sea. Sandy beach just down the steps!
Popped in for a drink after a walk along the beach. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff.
The bathroom had an overpowering smell and the hallway smelt of soiled nappies. The beds had no mattress protectors...its 2024 every hotel should have those as standard now! I could go on but I'll just say the place didn't feel very clean to me. Gentleman with the lip piercing and lady with the ponytailed dark hair were very accommodating. Thanks
