We stayed at the Cider Barn with friends. We liked the fact that there were 3 ensuite bedrooms. The Cider Mill is so well equiped and very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the weather was good enough to sit outside and even have a BBQ. It is a very good place to visit for relaxation, peace and quiet, visiting gardens, villages, as well as walking near the River Wye. We thoroughly recommend staying here.
I booked a return visit to the Cider Mill as a 90th birthday treat for my mother and arranged for our immediate family to join us there for a birthday lunch on the day . It was a perfect venue for lunch in beautiful, relaxing surroundings . All my family loved it - my parents want to live there ! What better recommendation could there be ?
Two friends and I spent a very happy three days at the Cider Mill in early October. The garden was so beautiful and peaceful and we loved sitting out in the sun. The house itself is comfortable and beautifully decorated. It has everything you could possibly need and is really generously stocked. It is probably the best holiday rental I have ever experienced. Anna is really quick and responsive to any queries and sends lots of helpful advice about the area.
We have just returned from the most wonderful week at this gem of a holiday cottage. It’s set in its own beautifully secluded garden down a dead end country lane with barely any passing traffic. All around us were field of orchards, a magnificent sight as the colourful apples weigh heavily on the boughs of the trees at this time of year. Four ladies looking for a relaxing weekend were not disappointed! From the moment we arrived and found our fab gift basket (and the photos of the mill don’t do this place justice!) to the end of the weekend and our departure we had the best time. So much info from Anna and the website that we felt 3 nights just weren’t enough. We will have to go back. It’s cosy and welcoming and so peaceful. Now need to figure out whether we bring the husbands next time or not…. 🤔
