I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the charcoal huts! It was just me on the site and I also (not so) conveniently picked a time when it was fairly cold, but I was kindly provided with extra firewood so it was super cozy. It was really easy to check in and out, and all the tips on what to do in the area were really helpful! Thanks for making my trip to Bute so lovely, I’ll definitely be back!
Everything we needed for a 3-night break. Clean and cosy cabin with a comfortable bed in a perfect setting. Wood burner worked well and we appreciated the local coffee on the shelf. Cutlery and plates good quality although please add a bread knife! We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect. Such an inspiring place and loved the whole experience which provided me with so much inspiration for my art practice.
Had a wonderful stay at the huts and would massively recommend it! Such a beautiful place.
