Terrible hotel and the service is shocking. The staff are so Miserable Which reflects on the customer service. Merlins bar was a prime example. Sat there for over 45 minutes and not one person came to the table despite me going to the bar twice asking for service. Celtic Manor will probably say this is a one off but this has happened on multiple visits. There is obviously a problem. In the end I just walked out. For an expensive hotel I thought the room we stayed in the was very tired looking and needed updating. our tap would not turn off in the bathroom and the grouting was dirty. They were charging £2.50 to bring the drinks to the table . The main areas were beautiful as were the grounds. The staff were lovely and friendly.
