Stopped in for lunch on the off chance. Highly recommended. The service was great, the food was amazing. If only I could have squeezed in a dessert... Perfect for a post walk rest. If you're within visiting distance, you won't regret it.
Very nice food and hospitality
Stopped for lunch.. great food, whitebait is amazing and NO RAW ONIONS in the salad. Great location, slightly off the beaten track, fine view of the castle opposite
Friendly boozer staff polite and helpful can be busy at times food reasonable and prices reasonable nice views of direlton castle just across road .
Excellent food and service. Partly dog friendly
