Just home from The Carraige House and we had a fantastic week. Well situated for visiting coastal towns, metro centre and Beamish. Dawn was available on arrival to welcome us to this lovely property. The welcome pack , especially the homemade cake was very much appreciated.We all slept well enjoying the comfortable beds and the cozy setting after busy days exploring the area. The hot tub was an added bonus. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the property and thank you to the wonderful hosts
So it's been a while since I wrote a big full-on review, however this place deserves a proper review.... now is it that statement going to make you read it? This starts before we arrived, the posting on holidaycottages.co.uk was good and accurate but couldn't communicate the love that dawn & Joe put into their offering. We enjoyed our stay here. Well appointed home from home. Lovely welcome pack. Pleasant, friendly couple who run it.
We had a very enjoyable week at this well appointed holiday home. The cottage is light and spacious with all the necessary facilities and all mod cons. Dawn and Joey were very friendly and helpful and we really appreciated Dawn’s delicious home made cake! The hot tub was a welcome bonus, and overall we would not to hesitate to recommend the Carriage House, which is ideally located for exploring the beautiful unspoilt local beaches and historic houses and castles.
