This company seems a bit sketchy. I have privacy concerns as well, why would a company require something so personal as bank statements to identify your ability to pay rent for a home in addition to the check stubs. This is not ok at all and has to be a violation of some sort. Just to do all of that hold money for a long amount of time then turn around and deny an application when all of it checks out. The customer service is terrible. Do yourself a favor and go to the next, Im happy Im pretty sure I dodged a bullet.

Before applying, try to get a detailed cost of the lease. I applied and was shocked to see an additional $86ish a month on the lease cost once the paperwork was sent over to sign; $16 for the smart home monitoring and $35 each month for our two pets, in addition to a $500 pet fee up front. These fees were mentioned in the terms for the background check, but not with a specific amount. Additionally, we asked to see the home before we paid anything beyond the initial $250 holding fee and application fees, but received no respo... read more
