Lovely family stay at The Cadogan, Belmond. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a corner room with great views of the street and Cadogan Gardens; it was quiet and very comfortable, perfect for a good night’s sleep. A thoughtful anniversary cake and a bottle of sparkling wine greeted us, and our daughter’s bed was dressed with a teddy—such a warm touch. My husband and I stayed many months in the old Cadogan. The new iteration is lovely as well (although we miss the old "living room" with the bar). We now spend a lot of time in the restaurant, the food is fabulous (best vegan vegetable soups, the mushroom soup is fab + fabulous tea) and the service A+. Vidhya, the hostess is absolutely darling, always cheery and helpful.
A Complete Nightmare – Worse Than a Horror Movie This hotel is pure hell on earth. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years – dirt, dust, and stains everywhere. The bed was a torture device, the sheets smelled like they had been pulled out of a garbage bin, and the bathroom was a biohazard zone crawling with mold and insects.
