Paint and wallpaper peeling in room 330. Starting at roughly 5am, loud, escalating pipe banging coming from above my restroom and continuing every 20-30 seconds. At the time of writing, this has continued for over 30 minutes. If Marriott has a capital renovation plan, it needs to start now. I won’t be staying here again.
The Brown Palace was beautiful! The staff was helpful and courteous. There are three restaurants attached to the hotel so you don't have to leave to find some great dining opportunities. I only stayed one night and didn't get to try all three, but was definitely impressed by the Shop Tavern and Ellyngton's.
One item is that at very brief notice was able to obtain a room. Second the staff is accommodating. The rooms are comfortable yet simple. Definitely returning for a longer stay.

The ambiance and atmosphere are relaxing, accommodations are comfortable. Service is impeccable highly recommend
1. Had a lovely Christmas Eve reservation at the Palace Arms. Found out additional family members were coming for the holiday. Tried calling to change the numbers. We’re told someone would call us back. They didn’t. Called again and were told someone would call us back. They didn’t. Called again and were told someone would call us back. No one did. Ate dinner in the tavern. Great beer selection and food was incredible.
The food is amazing and lots of memorabilia.
