Pricey, but I sure do love the great ambience here. Especially during the Christmas season. Pricey, but not outrageous. For me this is a special occasion destination.
Very nice hotel but really a bit over priced for what we received. Checked in about 4 pm and could not participate in high tea because it ended at 4:30 on a Sunday. Had a glass of milk, a scoop of ice cream and a paper cup of hot chocolate delivered to the room - cost $21. The room we had was fantastic except it was next to the elevator. But we have always wanted to check it out so that’s done
Beautiful hotel! Historic landmark. The stained glass ceiling and the iron railing are over 125 Year’s old! The staff was so attentive and nice the whole stay. The spa staff was very good at what they do too! We ate dinner at the tavern and was really impressed by how good everything was. I’ll definiteky stay again when back in Denver!
Made the reservations a few days ahead. Arrived and were greeted by friendly staff. Room was ready and so nice. My wife and I went to dinner returning to their wonderful turn down service. If your looking for great memories stay here
Anniversary trip. Had little meaningful interaction with staff except with check in and the bell service folks who were all amazing and even accommodated a very early check in. My husband and I both work in hotels and while parts of the room felt a little worn (some peeling wallpaper in the room) we expected that with such a old property. We loved every second. The hotel is very old but elegant. Spa experience was exceptional. Booked breakfast at Ellington’s. Get up to the podium and the man at the desk was hurried and rude. Then, when I told the older female that we were not staying for breakfast she just brushed us off without comment and walked past us to help the next person.
