Een echt oud hotel. Prachtig gebouw, jammer genoeg niet onderhouden. Super aardige eigenaar die enorm zijn best doet. Met schitterend weer hier 3 nachten verbleven. Top lokatie, flop douche.
My daughter had been twice before with friends, and this time, she and I went along with her two horses. We had the most wonderful experience. Beautiful grounds, beautiful weather, and Alan is the most lovely man, so happy to help, we even joined him on a few occasions, great company. From the hotel we went straight on to the forest. There is no services, no breakfast, no gym, no swimming pool. The rooms are old, dusty and smell very damo. The hygiene is appalling and the travel sites need to update their information and stop.selling dreams and pictures that are false abd do not represent what you got. It is in a lovely location and thats about all the positives.
Absolute slice of heaven! Such an incredible and unique house, it feels like you’re stepping back in time. Alan is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. He very kindly offered to take me and my horse for a ride with his gorgeous forest pony Smokey. We were out for hours talking away, even stopping at a pub with pens for the ponies.
