Poor quality of work and service for homes that were built in Baltimore City (the Uplands Project).

I posted this a few days ago but it seems like my honest review was deleted. There is often dog urine in the hallways

Business response:

Morgan Marie Hi, Morgan. Thank you for contacting us. In which Bozzuto community are you living?

I’m not certain if it’s the entirety of Bozzuto but my experience at Aperture was subpar. The sole Concern for management was how much more they can squeeze out of you. They conveniently lost the inspection form on my move in, so I now have to pay for a broken door - that was broken when I moved in. This, coupled with the lack of concern over the state of the dog park, failure to enforce quiet hours and poor construction means I’ll never rent Bozzuto again, nor recommend them.

Worst management ever. They have the management/ownership of The Hawthorne at Gillette Ridge for the last 12 months now and literally none of the requests are fulfilled. There is lack of response in terms of service calls, no appropriate COVID 19 measures and others. Sudden rent increases by 20% or so. No safety measures taken for residents. Understaffed office and maintenance crew. So many residents don’t even have their lease paperwork. Inconsistent billing for residents. So many reasons for not living at this community.

Business response:

Iftikhar Jan We want our residents to be happy so thank you for letting us know about this. Can you please send us a private message with the best phone number to reach you so we can properly address these issues? Thank you.

We have had a lot of issues with our apartment, it has cost money and vacation days from work. We had our balcony leak, took over two months to solve the issue. We had a leak in the bathtub above us, which caused them to have to replace drywall. Leaking pipe near our washer. Sewer smell coming from the sink. Now I woke up this morning to standing water again! Maintenance was very unresponsive with the first few issues. Once we got the manager involved they moved quicker. We never got any financial compensation which is just ... read more

I live in Senate Square in DC and pay over $3000 a month and we constantly have issues in the building. For example we’ve only had one working elevator for the last 6 months in a building with elderly and young children. We’ve had many leaks in our apartment. It’s not worth what we pay.

TERRIBLE! Paragon in Chicago, IL refuses to refund our $500 deposit as well as $100 application fee. We have emails stating they changed our application from a 12-month lease, to 13-months ( WITHOUT our consent ) in order to receive a free months rent. We will be moving after 10 months for work, so 13 months was never an option. I have spoken to the manager, as well as several other employees at that building who feel there is no reason to refund even partial payment. It is terrible that this company will not right their wro... read more
