Great, proper pub with possibly the best fish and chips in the town. Also - cheesecake, wow!
Cracking old-school pub serving excellent home-cooked food. Have eaten there twice and was impressed with the food on both occasions. Well worth a visit if you're in Wells, but make sure to book in advance.
Excellent home made traditional food, the Sunday roast was particularly good. Service and beer selection was also very good.
Excellent pub, good beers, great food, friendly staff. We visited over the weekend for drinks and food & were very well looked after. Booking in advance for food is essential, as they do get busy. Would definitely visit again!
