A bibliophile's delight <3 I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
Bartender, Max, is incredibly knowledgeable and quite entertaining. The raspberry on french bread appetizer (I can't recall the menu name) is so delicious. A wonderful blend of flavors on soft bread that is easy to bite into (not break-your-teeth hard). The whole atmosphere is smooth and laid back. And of course, the unique cocktails are amazing.
Good food, fun drink menu and great atmosphere.
Fast friendly staff, Speakeasy vibe, killer fries w/ truffle oil ketchup.. kicked-entrees and fabulous live jazz!
The vintage drinks, the gaslight, and the antique jazz make this feel like a speakeasy. Superb recreation of the period.
