The decor is in keeping with the theme, featuring vintage accents. Creatively mixed drinks are named with just as much imagination (try the Shirley Temple of Doom).

RecommendedWe had an awesome time at the Bookstore Speakeasy. Great food drinks and music. I even tipped the band tonight. Its hard to play out these days. So I did my part and tipped them well. We have to look out for each other!
Unique atmosphere and cocktails. The eggnog was out of sight! Owners Sean and Linda are the nicest people. You must check it out!
Had a delicious dinner, listened to live jazz music and met one of the owners, Linda. Linda is a lovely woman and a gracious business owner. This basement local was a speakeasy for over 10 years until prohibition ended in 1933. Lots of actual period pieces. The piano is the original, 100 years old. It’s so heavy that nobody wants to move it so now it’s a focal point. Great food - small plate style. Amazing drinks. Very attentive and accommodating staff. We will be returning!
I always have a great time at The Bookstore Speakeasy! Great ambiance, excellent service, and even better food and cocktails! This is definitely the place to be once quarantine restrictions are lifted and I am eagerly awaiting that day!
