The Bookstore Speakeasy is your portal to the 1920s. Behind a nondescript black door bearing only the words "The Bookstore," is a lively bar that hosts a jazz band several nights a week. The decor is in keeping with the theme, featuring vintage accents. Creatively mixed drinks are named with just as much imagination (try the Shirley Temple of Doom).

Dead rats in the walls they cover up the smell with incense.
Great for drinks, light music and ambiance but that's about it. There must be a reason there's always a Groupon available. The food is awful. The menu is so limited and at least three items plus one dessert was not even available. What a waste of a Groupon.
I would absolutely 100% recommend The Bookstore Speakeasy! If possible definitely see if you can ask for Joe to be your server! Between the decor, the vibe, the music, the service, the incredible drinks and amazing food here there are so many reasons to try this place and keep coming back! Joe was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming the whole time. His service made he experience so much more enjoyable. I can’t wait to go back!
