The Bookstore Speakeasy is your portal to the 1920s. Behind a nondescript black door bearing only the words "The Bookstore," is a lively bar that hosts a jazz band several nights a week. The decor is in keeping with the theme, featuring vintage accents. Creatively mixed drinks are named with just as much imagination (try the Shirley Temple of Doom).

This place is hit or miss at best for service while the drinks and fod are good. I never got my drink that I asked for and the waitress never even checked on the table. It is sad because the quality of food and drinks here is great, if or when they actually serve you.
Great bartenders and a wide variety of drinks. Try the peach Bellini
Ask the bartender to create a drink for you! Artistry at its finest
Best cocktails, music & food!
Fantastic food, service, atmosphere, and tunes. You feel transported back in time. Awesome! Will be back, over and over!
Food very good but for price I expect fine dining not a dingy basement and $2:00 per person for band that played way too loud outrageous.
The Bookstore is an awesome experience!
Awesome place...look forward to going back again!
One of my top 10 bars..comfortable, sexy, and masterful cocktails!
