We booked a Prisoner Experience for 30/10/2025, we were contacted by the hotel 4 days beforehand to say that we shouldn't have been able to book the experience because there was a Murder Mystery evening taking place. The room was booked 2 months prior. We were given the option to reschedule for the 1st Nov, attend the Murder Mystery or cancel. We asked for some time to decide. Amazing! I can't remember the name of the lady that looked after us in the bar and restaurant but wow! Thankyou. The rooms are amazing and the staff are amazing. And id like to say I only eat out in the best restaurants and your head chef is on a different level, Look after him and his team they are destined for big things. A return visit to a hotel like no other This was our second visit at The Bodmin Jail Hotel after an excellent first visit last year. We returned for a short autumn break, and were welcomed by a charming monochrome Halloween decorations that looked so much better than the images in their socials. We were blown away by the architecture of this boutique hotel last year, and still were impressed coming in to the atrium where the prisoners used to all gathered.
