Just been for a meal here, very friendly staff, but a little disappointed with the food , would expect homemade chips and some fresh veg on the menu, instead of basic frozen chips and peas. There are plenty of nearby pubs who do offer this. Maybe just need to see what the competition are offering .
After frequenting Blue Anchor on many occasions before the new owners and having fantastic meals we decided to give it a go Where do I start !!! We ordered 2 roast beef dinners and pre paid. On arrival looking quite good then down hill from there on out the roast beef was 3 slithers of cold and chewy leather I thought the rest was underneath the veg but I was wrong The carrots were hot at the end that had gravy on the rest was cold as was the solid lump of stuffing green beans and potatoes were hot but to top it all off the ... read more
