New owners, as from Monday 3rd November, will be open Monday to Sunday , great home cooked food , good choice of food and beers , village atmosphere .
Friendly welcome when arrived, felt like part of the family, can't remember the ladies name behind the bar, she couldn't do enough for us, Jen and Phil the owners very approachable and willing to listen to ideas for the village, OUTSTANDING ALL ROUND!!!! RECOMMEND THE MIX GRILL!!!!
Just been for a meal here, very friendly staff, but a little disappointed with the food , would expect homemade chips and some fresh veg on the menu, instead of basic frozen chips and peas. There are plenty of nearby pubs who do offer this. Maybe just need to see what the competition are offering .
After frequenting Blue Anchor on many occasions before the new owners and having fantastic meals we decided to give it a go Where do I start !!! We ordered 2 roast beef dinners and pre paid.
