We only went for Sunday lunch. What a beautiful place. I think we will have to return and stay a couple of nights. A very warm welcome and Sunday lunch was so so so good. The beef was cooked to perfection (medium), a huge Yorkshire pud, delicious gravy and the vegetables cooked to perfection. Thank you so much to the lady who took us to our seat and served us (sorry didn't get her name) but she was just lovely and friendly. Visit if you can. The decor inside is something to see. A quaint place to stay and eat. *****

Het hotel heeft mooie kamers en een leuke biertuin. Echter is het belangrijkste hoe welkom je je voelt en wij maar wij voelden ons hier niet echt als gasten behandeld. We werden bij een drukke groep geplaatst terwijl er nog vele tafels vrij waren in het rustige gedeelte toen we uitgegeten waren. We hadden juist gevraagd of we ergens anders mochten zitten. Het hoofdgerecht was erg lekker, het toetje matig. We hadden hier meer van verwacht helaas.
