We didn't come here to stay but we did come to eat. We were visitors to the area on holiday from England and decided to come here on the first night to eat dinner. I called before arrival to ask if they had tables available, to which they said yes. On arrival we walked into the restaurant and was greeted warmly and offered menus quickly. we ordered 4 mains (2 fish and chips, 1 special beef bourg, 1 mac & cheese), they were served piping hot and presented really nicely. We took a wee drive to try out the restaurant at the Black Bull as it was getting good reviews... on arrival there's plenty of car parking places, and they have a small sheltered beer garden. Staff were lovely and showed us tour table, restaurant is very nicely decorated, we ordered our drinks and wife said wine was really good and quite cheap bonus there lol. The black bull in tarbolton is what we thought was just another pub but it's way much more than that from the moment you walk in to bar area you are greated by friendly and professional staff who look after you Credit to the chief and the team the food was excellent We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the lounge area but the staff didn't forget us in any way they looked after us We would highly recommend the black bull it's a pub and then some 😁
