RecommendedI have absolutely no words to describe how fantastic Dr. Thorton and the rest of the staff have been to us. The Big Easy is a special place devoted to animals and their pet parents. I have had animals my entire life and never in my life have I encountered a more caring and loving group of people dedicated to our animals well being then the staff at the Big Easy. Thank you Dr. Ruiz for creating this haven for pet parents.
BEAH is a convenient location, and the staff did a great job of answering my questions and showing me how to trim my cats nails. Very confident in their skills.
Big Easy has some of the kindest staff I've ever encountered at a vet. My beloved kitty passed away just as we got here last week and the staff were so caring and compassionate in handling the situation. These people actually care about their patients, unlike most places that just look at us and see dollar signs.
These are the most caring and compassionate group of people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They took the time to listen and helped make a scary situation so much better. I am grateful to all that you guys do and have done to keep my fur baby healthy again.
I've taken my pets to various veterinary clinics. The BIG EASY has been most convenient. Emergency services are reasonable price as are walk in. Knowledgeable and kind staff. My new go to clinic.
My pets have been with Dr Ruiz since she came here to Pittsburgh. On a personal note, my family has been behind her while she told us her future ambitions on having a practice of her own. She is an amazing physician and a wonderful person who has followed her dreams to make them a reality.
This is an excellent hospital and they do not try to overcharge you. They took care of my dachshund and was extremely good at it. The downside was the two hours in the waiting room waiting to see the doctor. But, worth the wait because the staff is very pleasant and the vet is awesome! I really like her. It's where I'm going to go now for vet care. Bright and clean.

I would like thank the Big Easy staff for making and extremely difficult situation a bit easier. Even though there was question about the clarity of a law, everyone was calm and understanding.
