We ate here whilst staying at Garden Cottage, just up the road. Not a big pub so possibly book table in advance, we were a table of six, huge portions of delicious food, my husband and I had fush and chips, crunchy batter on the fish with piping hot chips. Great service at bar and table, very welcoming and friendly pub.
Lovely local pub booked 6 people for dinner and stayed for a few drinks, couldn't ask for a better atmosphere If anyone is visiting this area I highly recommend this pub (and the battered chicken burger )
Very disappointed that no food was available on Wednesday 27 August nothing on website or facebook no board outside we were really looking forward to a meal here after such great reviews and we we’re staying in the village
