Just had lunch here which was very good and reasonably priced.
A wonderful, relaxed and inviting place to have an evening drink and take in the beautiful seafront views. All hotel staff were professional and friendly in their approach. Particular praise must be given to both Stewart and Larry who were notably personable, engaging and highly customer-focused, ensuring that our requests were met to a high and efficient standard. Thank you for making our visit to The Belmost so memorable and enjoyable. Hope to see you again.
This is a full afternoon tea review only. This is a great location and you overlook the seafront, the surroundings are comfortable and a bit old fashioned (I guess it suits the guests as 80 looked average…). The afternoon tea was unremarkable, lacking inspiration, not even competent really. Fabulous hotel, superbly positioned by the sea front and nice flat walk into Sidmouth town centre. Everything about this hotel is top notch. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here and would highly recommend it.
