We had a generous welcome and the cottage was well equipped, beautifully decorated, fresh and welcoming. There were plenty of comfortable sitting areas and a nice garden. The situation is particularly good as it is off the main road with walks behind the house and an excellent thatched pub only steps away. There is a helpful house book giving information on the area and magazines, books and games. There are so many places to go and things to do we will certainly return. Wilsons, April 2025
Third time staying at the Bee Cottage and still can't fault it. Extremely comfortable with beautiful decor, well maintained and clean. Spoiled for staying anywhere else! Hosts are so helpful, and generous. The coffee and local bakery treats are always very appreciated! Tonnes of helpful information on the local area in the cottage, and we had a lovely time exploring Oakham and Stamford once more - always something new to discover. We will be back.

Stayed at this cottage for the long weekend with the wife and we were extremely happy with the stay. Lovely, clean place with a fireplace to match the cosy feel. Owner was friendly and catered to all our needs. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye and would recommend for long stays. Will book again :)
Beautiful thatched cottage with an amazing interior. There were some lovely welcome touches on arrival. Outdoor area was especially pleasant and Cottesmore is a wonderful area to explore. The dog particularly loved having the wood burner and so many country walks. Many thanks Steve and Hanri we hope to be back again soon!
