Great hotel in the depths of the Cheshire countryside. A picturesque location by the River Wheelock and opposite St Leonard's Church in Warmingham. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the restaurant has a good range of tasty food, it's always busy though so book ahead. And, the staff are delightful, friendly, efficient and kind hearted. Oh and dogs are welcome too.
Fantastic food and pub. Lovely surroundings. Starter came fine but took an hour to get our Sunday roast main. Would have been 5 star otherwise.
