Visited the pub tonight... Excellent for and service
Tried to book to come with my 94-year-old mother-in-law who wanted to treat my husband , my son and me for my husband's birthday. She has a tiny appetite and a limited budget and gets sleepy early. We explained all this on the phone but they wouldn't take an early evening booking for just starters. They encouraged us to just turn up. When we arrived at 6.40pm the receptionist told us there'd be no table until at least 7.30. Dined here while visiting friends. Fantastic food and really great service. Love that they allow dogs in
Lovely pub/hotel. Good service from very attentive staff. Unfortunately, I'd have to say the food was not as good as last time. Trying too hard to mak it fancy I think. Still a lovely visitcandcthe rooms are super!
