The Beacon is a truly magical place. Situated in the North Yorkshire National Park with stunning views across the moors. The accommodation is a very high standard with great attention to detail on all your creature comforts. We stayed in January 2023 with ten friends and there was so much space for coming together or finding a quiet spot. All in all a perfect getaway any time of the year.
Great house, great location. The house has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard, we stayed in January and the house was extremely cosy. However the location was the best part, stunning views of the North Yorkshire Moors and no traffic noise. Looking to go back.
We spent a fabulous week at this stunning property last month ( Jan 2023) with 10 friends. This property is beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. In spite of the cold and snowy weather the house was so warm and cozy. Plenty of hot water in the beautiful bathrooms and the bubbling hot tub was a beautiful experience under the stars. A stunning view over the moors from every window and a lovely part of the country to explore. Will definitely be looking to re visit The Beacon and highly recommend it.
Enjoyed a wonderful 4 night holiday at The Beacon with a group of friends in January. It was a magical place to stay at that time of year with the log burner, stunning views across the snow sprinkled moors and time spent under the stars in the jacuzzi. The decor is stunning and all finished to a very high standard. Perfect location for exploring the moors on foot or travelling the short drive to the coast to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Highly recommend and would love to return one day.
Worked 6 days a week for these people from March to November they overstretched their budget and refused to pay for any of the Skilled Work that is the wall ends curves or corners. Think carefully before trusting James
