Lovely clean and very nice location
The loch is stunning We booked the room with the patio doors however on arrival we got a different room that was disappointing We booked breakfast that was also disappointing it came out on a skillet looked good but we had to empty the whole lot on a plate I didn’t enjoy it the oil it was cooked in was awful waste of money left it all The room was lovely but the noise from next door and upstairs was dreadful you can here EVERYTHING hense why I would not return The spa was ok small nothing special
This was our first family trip with our 16 month old which already left us uneasy how things would go but we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The service from booking to check out was fantastic. Our wee one enjoyed the fish from kids menu 2 nights which was a fresh and generous portion. FOH restaurant team were the best young hospitality team that i have seen in the many years I have been in the industry. Above and beyond our expectations. We cant wait to return.
I got a voucher for the Beach House and was quite disappointed. The room was beautiful and the setting was lovely but the fact that the room is 3 miles up the road from lodge on Loch Lomond is very inconvenient. We had use of the thermal spa included which you had to prebook but it was full. You have to check in at the lodge and then drive back up to the room unload your bags and if you’re having a treatment drive back down get changed and drive back up and then back down again for dinner and back. If you’re looking for peace and quiet at the beach house then forget it…! It has the loudest banging entrance door in Scotland, slamming shut all night then starting again at 7.00am. We could hear everything from the room above us, every time they moved an inch the floor boards above us creaked and groaned. Worst nights sleep ever.
