RecommendedWe've been to the Bayou twice and I'm looking forward to making it a habit. The Fried Chicken was the best !
We made reservations for 5:45 on a Friday night, and our party of four was seated right away when we arrived. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinners (shrimp po boy, brussel sprouts; gumbo, catfish; jambalaya, mac/cheese; fried chicken). Wish it were a little closer to us, but we foresee going again! 👍👍

Worth the one hour drive from NJ! Delicious appetizers, ribs, and jalapeño margaritas. Wait staff was terrific. Hope to go back.

We had lunch at the Bayou yesterday and were again very happy with our food... Everything from the Butter Milk fried chicken, fried chicken thighs sandwich with pimento cheese, jalapeño hush puppies, baked asparagus with bacon and jumbalia. The food and service was Great 👍 Definitely will be going back...
Delicious food. Every dish was so good — and we tried several dishes! The service and attention was also top-notch. I can’t believe it took me so long to eat here. Well done Moe and team!

I wish I could’ve tried more of the Soul Food however my wife and I LOVED the Fish’n’Chips! It seemed to be very little breading on the fish like they were seared to perfection added placenment of slaw well done and the house sauce spicy bite added to our fries and fish, SIMPLY AWESOME topped off with a full plate of Brown Sugar Beneits! We shall return!

When the Bayou first arrived the food was amazing. My husband and I have gone several times and for the price of the food, it's really not worth it. The chicken has been overcooked, undercooked and we have sent it back to still not to our liking. They should've close the Bayou and left Grain open!! Now Grain knew how chicken is supposed to be cooked!!
