The Bayou is my husband’s and my favorite restaurant to go on date night. Today we took our two daughters along for the 4th of July holiday and we were not disappointed. I was a bit apprehensive to try the Fried Oysters as an appetizer. The oysters were so good, my 16 year old and I polished off the entire appetizer by ourselves. I also ordered the Pecan Redfish with delicata squash. The redfish was amazing and so was the coconut sauce that came with it. So great! The ribs are incredible. I loved the fried green tomatoes and hush puppies, as well. All of the cocktails were equally delicious.

'Twas a trip back in time for me, back to the mid-80's when I was stationed in Biloxi MS. The hurricane was spot-on, the catfish/ collards/ dirty rice was delicious. The beignets are wonderful and the closest thing to seeing the flashing red light at the Krispy Kremes down on the Gulf Coast.

Food is amazing so is the jalapeño margarita. Staff is frendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
