The Bayou has always been an absolute favorite place of mine. I have gone multiple times and ALWAYS had an amazing experience. However, my last visit was the complete opposite... first of all, I made a reservation online (using their apparently new reservation system - Resy, different from the original Open Table). The reservation made was for 7:45pm. I walk in at 7:45 pm and we are told by the hostess that "people haven't gotten up yet so you can wait at the bar"... ok... that's a first. All I have to say is get the Hanger Steak!! It’s absolutely Amazeballs!!!! That sauce... mmmmmm. If I wasn’t out in public, I would’ve probably licked the plate clean lol.

Good food, friendly owners...Saturday nights can get hoppin’ & our waitress got “distracted “ by the activities/friends at the bar... ....so, service could’ve been better, depending on the waitress you draw. Ours’ was hangin at the bar, while the people next to us, arrived after our group, got a different waitress...they were served all course before us...
