Lovely hotel with a very warm welcoming, great facilities and within walking distance to town and pier
On arrival staff was friendly, Room was tidy but no facilities ie fridge etc where we could put some cold water, the mattresses were night mare, probably never ever being changed as I could feel every single spring wire inside the mattresses, the floors a Bove us were squeeky, when someone was walking around we could hear squeeks, bathroom was bit tight we had to sit on angle because there was a washbasin next to it. Hubby and I stayed at this lovely tastefully decorated, boutique style hotel in Bournemouth from 7-10 August, a combination of business/celebration marking our 24th Wedding Anniversary. The Applewood Hotel is a true gem, it offers free parking for guests was always fresh, clean and tidy. Housekeeping did an amazing job of maintaining this aspect of the hotel.
