Cosy, comfy, spotlessly clean cottage. Set in the little village of Holtby. Very handy for taking the Bus into York town center. Just be aware you will need a torch to find your way back off the bus on dark nights. It was our 3rd stay here. And wont be the last.
Really beautiful cottage, super friendly and helpful hosts, really close to York and easy to get there by bus. Would thoroughly recommend :)
Holtby is een dorpje-van-niks! Ik geloof niet dat ik ooit in zo'n klein plaatsje heb gelogeerd….. Volgens Wikipedia wonen er 160 mensen, er is geen winkel(tje), helemaal niets. En toch hebben mijn vrouw en ik daar twee heerlijke weken doorgebracht, notabene in januari! Het geheim? Een appartement met de naam 'The Apple Barn', een heerlijk en compleet huisje, een mooie gerenoveerde oude appelschuur. naast het kerkje.
