About this business

An excellent addition to New York's continually evolving night scene, Ainsworth is an upscale restaurant and sports bar which has quickly become the talk of town. The decadence and chicness of this bar isn't undermined by the after-work crowd which packs a mix of sophisticates, beer heads and sports nuts. Sprawled across 6,000 square feet, and boasting of 40-television screens, Ainsworth's rustic decor is superbly complemented by the aged pine walls, chocolate leather seats, chandeliers and amber lights. The menu has a limite... read more

Drinks!!! – I gotta say that the drinks at The Ainsworth are pretty amazing. That have a legit happy hour that you can't find really in the city for such a nice place. Also, they have signature drinks that taste like no other! Especially the blueberry margarita which is slammin!

Get There Fast! – On W 26th, you'll find The Ainsworth...and you'll definitely be glad you did. It's the perfect mix of class and sports with good food and people. There's no where else in the area you can find a place like this which makes it even more appealing when dining or just hanging at the bar.

Can't get better than the best – I love the Ainsworth in every sense. There's nothing to complain about besides it sometimes being crowded, but that's the fun of it all. Being around great people and in an atmosphere with fellow sports lovers is always a good time. Plus their incredible spinach dip doesn't hurt when watching some bball games.

Bar-tastic! – The bar at The Ainsworth is awesome! There's all sorts of different drafts to try and the well drinks are great too. Their happy hour has $5 martinis...including appletinis which are my favorite! Also, their appetizers come in such large portions that they're great to have when sipping on a cocktail.

During March Madness..it's the place to be!! – The Ainsworth during sporting events is usually a good time, but during March Madness it's great!! Although many of the NY teams are out of the tournament, it's still so fun watching all of the different teams in such an exciting atmosphere. I will be back for the rest of the games for sure, especially to get some disco fries :)

Ainsworth-- – The Ainsworth is probably the best spot in its area. Everything else is Subways and Starbucks, but once you actually get on 26th you can see it's the best place for blocks. They're usually not too busy during happy hour or lunch hours so that's when I like to go. It is decorated really nicely and makes you feel like your escaping reality for a minute from work! At night it's not too bad either unless you going during a game then it’s crazzzzy. LOVE IT HERE!

MARCH MADNESS! – I am so excited for March Madness to start so I can get to The Ainsworth. Seriously, during basketball season this place seems to get more packed with sports fans then during football! It's such an exciting and fun atmosphere that I've been waiting for all year...especially since I've been craving their martinis! I was there last night for the Big East tournament and it was great..GO RUTGERS!!

There's Nothing Else Like The Ainsworth – The Ainsworth is one of those places that if you haven't been yet, you have to go and at least give it a try. I see that a lot of these reviews are really mixed but each time I've been there I personally have had a great experience. The best part about it is no doubt the set up for sports fans. There's really not a bad seat in the house. The food is also really good if you get the right thing...espically the burgers. The drinks can be a little strong, but that's always how me and my ... read more

Classy but Sporty – No wonder this place was named the best sports bar in NYC. They have a great thing going at the Ainsworth, they have all the appeal of an upscale bar and lounge with (some not all of) the food and TVs of a sports bar. They make it seem like such an upscale experience while you may be guzzling beer and chowing down on a burger. Then again you may be sipping on a martini and dining on an elegant salad or a steak. All the servers are so nice and always helpful even when the place is swarmmed with sports fans... read more
