About this business

An excellent addition to New York's continually evolving night scene, Ainsworth is an upscale restaurant and sports bar which has quickly become the talk of town. The decadence and chicness of this bar isn't undermined by the after-work crowd which packs a mix of sophisticates, beer heads and sports nuts. Sprawled across 6,000 square feet, and boasting of 40-television screens, Ainsworth's rustic decor is superbly complemented by the aged pine walls, chocolate leather seats, chandeliers and amber lights. The menu has a limite... read more

Chicken Finger Frenzyy! – I know it's strange to write a review about chicken fingers, but seriously The Ainsworth's are the best! There the perfect mix of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My friends make fun of me for being so obsessed with them, but I can't help it! I think they're cooked in truffle oil which gives them this unique taste. The appetizer is big enough to fill me up too, so it's always a good choice. I wrote this review because The Ainsworth has a lot of great different kinds of food, but for th... read more

Go During Lunch Hours!! – The Ainsworth has a reputation of being filled to the max, because it's one of the hottest spots bar/restaurants in NYC. But if you go during lunch hours, there's always room for a great meal. Also, their happy hour isn't usually too packed during the week and they have some good specials like $5 appletinis for the ladies and $3 Bud Lights too. It's really worth the trip if you have the time to get there.

The Ainsworth on West 26th – When looking at the outside of The Ainsworth, you wouldn't think that it would be a restaurant that usually gathers a sports crowd, but they do! Although it looks beautiful, the feel inside is very easy going and allows for guests to feel comfortable and classy at the same time. The food is impecable as well as the drinks. So when passing by, it would be worth it to check out the inside and try it yourself!

The Amazing Ainsworth – If you are looking for a place to get a great amount of food for your money, then The Ainsworth is defiantly somewhere you should go. If you get an appetizer, the portions are very large and completely filling. For instance, I tried the crab cake-and one filled me up for the rest of the day! So good..as well as the drinks which are cheap during happy hour and are the perfect blend of the right amount of alcohol so they're not to strong-not too weak. AMAZINGGGGG-GO ASAPP!!

The Hot Spot – The Ainsworth is definately the place to be... whether its game day or just happy hour this place has got NYs attention. With too many TVs to count and a crowd of good looking people filling it up, its no surprise the Ainsworth is as popular as it is. They have great food, good happy hour specials, friendly service... I really can't say anything bad about it! If you're a sports person, or even if you're not the Ainsworth is worth checking out.

The best compromise – The Ainsworth is the perfect place for me to go with my boyfriend that involves no discussion what-so-ever. Its always a great place to go with a mixed group because they really have something for everyone. They have this salad that is out of this world with goat cheese and white balsamic vinegarette... LOVE IT. I could eat it right now actually now that I'm thinking about it. Get there quick!

"The Works" – The Ainsworth -- one of the most popular sports bars in the city not only has all the people but it has all the good food! They have a few really great dishes here, all of the burgers, the hummus, and the chicken fingers for sure. As for the rest I can't make a statement because I haven't tried it all but it seems like they can't mess up here! The staff is great and very quick. Definately stop in.

Coolest "Sports Bar" Ever! – This place is... awesome. It is super nice when you walk in, all the clientele is professional and they have TVs everywhere! The TVs are the only give away that would make you think you're in a sports bar, beyond that they have a really classy set-up going on, white table cloths, wood panneling, chandeliers the whole 9 yards. The food here is pretty good as well. Most times I've been I've had a burger so I can attest to how great those are but I've never really heard of anything on the menu being... read more

Ainsworth? Yes. – No wonder this place is so popular! The staff here kind of gets a bad wrap on this website but from my experience they have been so attentive and helpful from the reservation process to paying the bill. I had an awesome entree on my last visit... Chicken Terryaki. I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it was, I really loved it. And as always the drinks were flowing and there were plenty of people to strike up a conversation with. All in all the Ainsworth gets an A+ from me.
