Stunning Decor – When you first walk into the Ainsworth you may think you're in the wrong bar! They have it decorated so nicely for a place that prides itself on being a sports bar. They have great food here and it is a really popular place to watch any of the NY sports teams. When you go I recommend you try the hummus, its great!
Success At The Ainsworth! – After bringing a large group to The Ainsworth, I discovered that they truly are one of the best sports bars and restaurants in NYC. They are so accommodating and the entire night was flawless. The reservation process can be kind of tedious, but it is very much worth it. I suggest this location for any sports or classy event that you are looking for a guaranteed successful night.
Just as good as everyone says! – After reading many of the reviews on CitySearch, I thought that The Ainsworth would be a really good place to take my boyfriend to dinner. Most of the reviews said any guy would love it because of their TV's and classy sports bar feel. When I did end up going, everyone was completely right! My boyfriend loved it and so did I! So I just want to reinforce the fact that The Ainsworth is just as good as everyone says =]
Fish Taco Wrap-Great Choice! – My boyfriend is always trying to introduce me to new things and when we went to The Ainsworth, he insisted that I try this "fish taco wrap". I was very anxious about ordering such an out of the ordinary thing, for me at least..but in the end I was so happy! The flavors blended very well and I was glad to try something new and actually like it. I'm so over regular tacos now and might just make all my tacos fish tacos now! Gotta get the recipe...or keep making my boyfriend take me to The Ains!
Not Your Ordinary Fish N Chips – I'm a big fan of fish and chips but I got spoiled at The Ainsworth..they're outrageously good. It's mahi-mahi and comes with a cajun tarter sauce that added the perfect touch. Obviously, the fries on the side we're also good but I'm telling you I was floored by this dish. Try it!
Always Top Quality – Whenever I go to The Ainsworth, the quality is always the best of the best. There's never a flaw when it comes to the waiting staff, taste of the drinks, or taste of the food. Everything is always hot, quick, and very appetizing. This is a restaurant I can get behind because I very much enjoy always knowing that I am in for a pleasant experience each time.
The Ainsworth is so popular! – I love the Ainsworth, they have great food, great drinks and a great crowd... However that crowd sometimes gets a little to large for my taste. When its a normal day I love going to the Ainsworth for lunch or happy hour or whatever really! Try the hummus!
NYC's Best Sports Bar! – The Ainsworth is a hot spot! They have awesome burgers here but with a twist! All the food is a few notches up from normal pub food and its all amazing. If you can get a reservation, get to the Ainsworth for your favorite sporting event!
Perfect Location – As someone who is constantly around New York Penn Station, I am always looking for a place that I can run in and grab some drinks after a long day of work before I have to take the train. Now that I've found The Ainsworth, my search is over! It's only 5 blocks away from the train station, has a great happy hour, and is such a classy place! The staff is always extremely nice and every dish I've tried has been fantastic. Thank you, Ainsworth, you have cured my after-work blues!!
