About this business

An excellent addition to New York's continually evolving night scene, Ainsworth is an upscale restaurant and sports bar which has quickly become the talk of town. The decadence and chicness of this bar isn't undermined by the after-work crowd which packs a mix of sophisticates, beer heads and sports nuts. Sprawled across 6,000 square feet, and boasting of 40-television screens, Ainsworth's rustic decor is superbly complemented by the aged pine walls, chocolate leather seats, chandeliers and amber lights. The menu has a limite... read more

Seems like a great place to have a party! – What a wonderful atmosphere the Ainsworth provides for the everyday sports fan in NYC. With its huge leather lounge seats, endless amazing dishes and dozens of TVs the Ainsworth is a place I've often enjoyed. While I have been here several times I have never personally thrown a party here, however they seem very open to reservations for large groups in fact the last time I was in the friendly staff were entertaining a large party with ease. All of the seats and tables are moveable ... read more

Great Location – After a long day of work it's a good place to stop by and get a drink because it's only a few blocks away from Penn Station. Also, the place is super relaxing unless there is a game on and then it is just filled with energy. You can't help but to get addicted to the sliders and their disco fries. A great recommendation for those on the go and sports fans.

LOVE IT HERE – If you want to be out where everyone is going for the game the only place to be is the Ainsworth. Tons of people, tons of exciment, and some delicious food. Way different then typical sports bars because you actually feel like your in a nice place because it is! I reccommend to any guys who want to find some classy girls who love sports because it's filled with them! GO JETS!!!!!!!!

love the crab cakes =] – The Ainsworth is a great spot with out of this world crab cakes! Me and my girlfriends all started off with appitizers which is only one but so worth it because it's huge and amazing!! For dinner I got the buffalo chicken wrap which was also really good. The food is the perfect mix of fancy and simple which I love! All of us will be returning one day hopefully soon!

Delievery!!!!! – I go to the Ainsworth all the time and I finally got delievery from there the other day. It came really fast and was still hot and just as good as in the resturant which I wasn't really sure if it would be. So now to know that if I can't go in to watch some football because of the snow or whatever else, I can still get my duck spring rolls delievered and be as happy as can be..Well not as happy as if the Jets win the superbowl but you get the point!

Sports Bar Heaven – Although I am usually good with staying in and watching football on my couch, when my girlfriend took me to The Ains I couldn't believe it. TVs everywhere and great food, what more can you ask for? Definatly would rather be there then on my couch from here on out espically since I'm now obsessed with their sliders.

AWESOME – Being one of the one of my girlfriends who likes sports, it's nearly impossible to drag them out to sports bars with me to watch games because they always get bored and want to go someplace else. I brought my girlfriends with me to the Ainsworth to watch a game and they all had SO much fun! Finally a sports bar that girls can enjoy just as much as the guys can. The Ainsworth has a really chic vibe and a cool crowd any night of the week. Expect it to be packed to capacity on game days (with typically beautiful men) ... read more

Favorite bar in Chelsea – Finally a good sports bar in the Chelsea area. Been coming here for a long time, it's a really great bar and has an awesome crowd just about any night of the week. The entire place is always staffed with beautiful women, and the food is seriously good. Highly recommend The Ains.

MAC AND CHEESE – Seriously, the mac and cheese alone is worth going to this bar. It's amazing. The vibe is really cool at the Ainsworth -- it's somehow both laid-back and chic at the same time so you'll be dressed appropriately in jeans or something dressier. And no matter how much I hate football, the bar gets PACKED with good looking men on game days and especially Sundays!!!
