A wonderful country inn, fantastic selection of beers and ciders on tap, whiskey selection also fantastic. Food was locally sourced, with well thought out dishes that offered something a cut above, thoroughly enjoyable across all courses for our lunchtime visit and in my opinion great value. Staff were friendly and attentive but Unobtrusive. Would absolutely recommend. We certainly look forward to coming again. Thank you for making our visit a memorable one.
Had a special occasion meal here, staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Atmosphere was superb in a lovely quiet village we both had a fantastic three course meal, the kitchen staff are obviously very talented, better than some Michelin star restaurants I’ve eaten in, couldn’t fault a thing.
Wonderful historic pub. Great after a long walk!
