I was one of the original residents in The 704, I lived there for 2+ years and it has it's positives and negatives. At the end of the day, the price you pay is not worth what you get. On paper, they have a lot of great amenities and perks, but in reality, they don't add enough value (see below) to make this place worth it. Here we go! DON'T move here!!! It's dirty and not luxury it's a dive at best! Also several friends like Kristen Renee Leonhardt have gotten their car towed even though THEY LIVE HERE because they "didn't see the parking permit in the window" they want residents to pay their rent but they tow their cars and cost them to lose their jobs! Awesome!!! It's 3:44am and I'm being woken up by 6 drunk people at building C's pool. I'd like to say this is not an common occurrence but I'd be lying. It happens enough for it to be a problem. Who do you call to handle it? No one. There is no one to deal with these rude guests of resident.
Worst leasing experience ever. I was so anxious to move out in two weeks and the water gets shut off in the whole building. Called in to after hours cuz it had been 5 hours with no running water and when I called in, they told me "tough luck". Really?!?! So relieved to be moved out in ten days and have a "real" leasing experience somewhere else more pleasant AND PROFESSIONAL!
I'm new to Austin, and I can't say enough amazing things about The 704. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and handle everything professionally and quickly! I only have good things to say about my home! I would refer anyone to live here! Alisha the manger helped me so much through my entire move in process and made it so easy for me! She took all the stress out of the lease process!!
