Recommended10-6-16 I was seated at table 16 (?) In the bar. Heather was the training server and I do not recall the trainee's name but they provided spectacular service. I don't always get good service when I eat out (at any resraurant) but this time I did. They even had a 3rd and 4th person bring food to us when they were busy, checked in on us without being overbearing, brought refills and offered to-go boxes (both got 16 Oz Sirloin because we like the leftovers). went there Saturday -last nite showed server coupon for my birthday and they charged for appetizer. All the other Texas Roadhouse gives free ice cream for your birthday and this one didn't-we had trouble with call ahead seating very rude will not come back again
I always go for the prime rib and it's always to my standards. Wait staff can be lacking sometimes, but for what it is, it's good. I'd even venture to say it tops Outback, but not when it comes to seafood.
Steak was over cooked, ordered medium came out med well, and ordered green beans as a 2nd side which was not delivered to table. But they were graciously comped our delicious rattlesnale bites for the steak being over cooked. Waitress was nice, tho didnt clear table promptly. I still love my Roadhouse in #Texarkana Texas.
Had dinner there tonight. Excellent food as always. But, what made tonight so awesome was the server, Hope. I brought my nephew to dinner. It can be difficult to go out to eat because he experiences some serious sensory issues. She was awesome. She took time to bring him toys and games to make his wait easier. And she even played a couple games of tic-tac-toe with him. She was awesome. Thanks for everything. #hoperocks
We had the most awesome meal! Our server, Phyllis, was attentive and very good. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Avon.
