I recommend TRTA because it is a strong advocate for all retired TRS employees (teachers & support staff) in Texas!

It is important for all retired school personnel to join TRTA in order to protect our annuities and fight to keep our retirement sound.

I have been able to send messages to my representatives until about 3 weeks ago I was suddenly shut out and asked for my user name and password. I don't remember either, or ever having one. l've tried to address this with your instructions. but nothing now works. I had been able to log on and send messages to my representatives, and my information always came up correctly. Help, please. Mary P. Braswell

The leaders are great advocates for the retirees. They work hard to represent us in Austin and to keep our pensions and health care affordable and at a livable level.
